A very rare stamp, signed Roumet and Scheller with his certificate (2011)

1897, 2½ a. on 25 c., block of 4, tied to quadruple rate envelope from "ZANZIBAR 2 JUIL 02" to Tanga with arrival mark. One stamp tiny corner perf crease, otherwise very fine.

1859, Eagle 10 c. yellow-brown, vertical pair and single, and Sage 40 c. red-orange, one 10 c. close at bottom otherwise good to large margins all around, all neatly tied by cds. “TAITI (OCÉANIE) PAPEETE 11 DEC. 78” repeated alongside, to envelope to Germany, endorsed “via san Francisco” with blue entry cds. “TAITI V.E.U. T ANGL PARIS FEVR. 79”, on reverse arrival. Cover opened on three sides and with faults, two cissors cut rebacked and some staining, still an exceptionally rare mixed franking Eagle-Sage from a most unusual origin, correctly franked at the double weight step rate (UPU tariff of 1st May 1878), signed Scheller with his certificate (2024)

Usual file folds not affecting the stamps. A very attractive and rare four colour franking. Signed Petridis and certificate Tseriotis (2010)

1868/69, cleaned plates 20 l. and 80 l., the later one full to large margins, tied by no. "110" with adjacent Argostolion c.d.s. to double red letter sheet via Trieste (although endorsed via Brindisi) to Taganrog, Russia. Fine and scarce entire.
