1800/70 (ca.), large group of many steel engraved illustrations and coloured maps, together with royal personalities, coat of arms and scenic views, somewhat in mixed condition, a wonderful assembly

PRISONERS OF WAR MAIL: 1914/18 (ca.), over 115 covers and cards, franked or sent free frank, some registered, many censor marks, mixed condition

1800/1920, accumulation of worldwide postal history items with a significant section of Italian States including pre-philatelic entires from Livorno to Constantinople (3), Alexandria (3, one “Vapore francese”), and Malta “Vapore postale francese” (2) as well as from Alexandria to Livorno “Vapore Austriaco via Trieste” and four Papal States frankings, Spain with four early frankings, Germany with Colonies, P.O.s Abroad and a number of Helgoland frankings, French Colonies with “Bulletin de Dépot” from Pondicherry (1892) or three disinfected entires from Algeria and Tunisia, Dutch Colonies with an 1866 paid entire from Batavia “Pr. Fransche Mail” via Marseille to Doesburg or 1901 registered letter from Soerbaja (Dutch East Indies) to Kyoto, Japan. Slightly mixed condition.

1850/1950 (ca.), collectors estate consisting of an All-World collection in twenty-five somewhat aged stockbooks with Germany as the mainstay in volume but also significant sections of Great Britain and Commonwealth from 1d. read and some Edwardian high-values, France, Austria and Belgium from First Issue, Switzerland, Russia, smaller parts of Eastern Europe and a stockbook overseas with better 1960s China including 1961, Block 7 mint never hinged and 1962, Block 8 used on somewhat creased airmail cover to Czechoslovakia.

Good general condition, neatly arranged with every stamp numbered according to Michel in 52 stookbooks and a further 11 books of duplicate material.
