TELSHI (Lithuania): 10 kopeck brown & blue, slightly touched at upper right, otherwise good to large margins, tied by dotted rectangular "183" to envelope with matching dispatch c.d.s. on reverse, to Wilno (Vilnius). Tiny parts of ink removed in the lower left margin of the stamp, otherwise fine. Very rare; just 2 other No.1-entires have been recorded from Telshi. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

TEMNIKOV: 10 kopeck brown & blue, large margins used by upright clear strike of dotted rectangular “477”. Very fine. Signed Buchsbayew.

UMAN (UKRAINE): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by boxed "UMAN 3 JUNE 1858" (with "3" and "58" added in manuscript) to letter written entirely in yiddish (outer flaps partly missing), to Zhitomir. The stamp with tiny surface scratch in the lower frame line, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very rare No.1-usage; just one further entire has been recorded from this small place. VOLSK: 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by boxed handstamp to entire letter to Saratov. The stamp just a tiny trace of unfreshness at upper right, otherwise very fine. A very rare usage of the No.1; just one further entire has been recorded from this small town. Certificate Buchsbayew (2013)

WILNO (Lithuania): 10 kopeck brown & blue, ample to large  margins, tied by dotted circle "5" to small cover to Warzaw, with with matching despatch mark and both red arrival mark and boxed "1/P". Very rare.  Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

WINDAU (Ventspils, Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, large margins, neatly tied by central bilingual double circle to piece. Very fine and rare. 

WOLMAR (Valmiera, Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, neatly tied by large part of boxed "WOLMAR OTPRAVLENO" to piece. Very fine and rare. Signed Buchsbayew.

ZHITOMIR(Ukraine): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large  margins, tied by pen star and boxed pre-philatelic " ZHITOMIR 28 (JANUARY 1858)" to almost entire letter (parts of outer flaps missing) to Kiev. Slightly cleaned, otherwise very fine. Very rare and attractive.  Certificate Buchsbayew (2017)

1858, perforated issue 10 kopeck brown & blue and 20 kopeck blue & orange, both in nice fresh colour and well perforated, used with clear boxed dotted numeral "69" to entire letter, dated inside October 19, 1858, with reverse side dispatch mark of Veliky Ustyug (slightly improved with pencil), to Volodga, with arrival mark of October 24. The stamps were removed for inspection and replaced. A very fine and fresh entire of the utmost rarity, only one further such combination on entire has been recorded. Certificate Buchsbayew (2022)

1858, 30 kopeck carmine & green, thin paper, nice fresh colour and well centered, with intact perforations on all sides, tied by pen cross to triple rate envelope with reverse side dispatch mark "SERPEYSK" (a small village in Kaluga Province), to St. Petersburg, with arrival mark of May 15, 1858. The envelope with usual transportation marks. A great rarity; just 9 single frankings of this stamp have been recorded, this being the only one with manuscript cancellation. 1866/1992, mint never hinged/unused and used group, eclectic material with some printing varieties, scarce Nikolsk railway fiscals, Zemstvo Borisolevsk, modern postal forgeries with 1992 25 roubles, etc., neatly housed in one booklet

1880/1923 (ca.), Russian Fiscals and Zemstvo, group of unused/used including some multiples, noted Moscow chancellery, Simbirsk, Armavir, Voronezh and more, 1871 “Tabak” 3 roubles green imperforate unused (Standart-Nr. 5, ex Fabergé), small Zemstvo part with Ustssissolsk, Krememchug, Borigolevsk, etc, except for the occasional fault mostly in fine condition, an interesting assembly neatly housed in two booklets

R.V.A.P. z 17 7 08” (STEAMSHIP OF EAST ASIATIC STEAMSHIP COMPANY) on 4 k., repeated alongside to postcard to Switzerland, Caspian sea mail with “BAKU-ENZELI PAROKH. 30 1 13” oval cds. on 10 k. on reverse of envelope to Ispahan with transit cds. “TEHERAN (DÉPART) 17. 11 13”, “(TEHERAN) 20.11.13”, very fine, also a similar cover from 1912, etc., together with Mi.-Nr. 26x (bloc of five) used with pen cross to a 1875 police report regarding a crime involving counterfeited coins in the hamlet of Dokurin, mostly fine 

1900/15 (ca.), Red Cross Illustrated Postcards, impressive collection with well over 300 mostly unused cards, depicting scenic scenes, art, cities and village folks, many better and scarcer types noted throughout. Overall in fine condition, neatly mounted on exhibition pages

1911/14, Russian Temporary Postmarks, small group of 5 cards, some better items with “DVINSK POLIGON VITEB. 4 VII 1911” (DVINSK ARTILLERY POLIGON) temporary cds. tying a 4 k. (one negligible perf toning) to postcard to St Petersburg, latest date of usage recorded, “SERGIEVSKI POLIGON 11. 8. 11” SERGIEVSKI ARTILLERY POLIGON cds. as a receiving mark on postcard with travelling post office “RIGA 39 TAPS 10. 8. 11” addressed to the Artillery School (civilian temporary post office opened from 1st May to 15 September), also one card from Switzerland, etc., overall in fine condition

1920/23, 8 covers and card including some better frankings, usage from Kolchak, Chita, and Far East Republic issues, registered mail, etc., rather mixed condition 

1899/1909, small group of used, together with two covers and one card from Hankow and Shanghai, mixed condition

RUSSLAND: 1843/1853, 15 Briefe, dabei verschiedene Desinfektions-Stempel von Odessa und Kerch, sauber beschrieben im Album

1946/49, Kriegsgefangenenpost aus zwei verschiedenen sowjetischen Lagern an Dr. Gustav Wienstein Nürnberg, dabei S.S.S.R.LAGER 7216/1 und 7384/6, mit teils verschieden Zensuren und Stempelfarben, 14 meist unterschiedliche Rotes Kreuz u.a. Vordrucke und vier zensierte Briefinhalte mit interessanten Schilderungen, meist gut erhalten.
