¼ Groschen grauviolett, zwei Einzelmarken 1 Groschen karmin je im Format L15, die rechte Marke mit Plattenfehler "Beule am Kreis unter REICHS" (Feld 150) sowie Schraubenkopfabdruck (SKA) und 5 Groschen ockerbraun je mit klarem EKr. "LEIPZIG P.A. No. 2 2.1.73" auf Firmen-Briefkuvert komplett mit Inhalt und handschriftlicher Leitvermerk "via Brindisi, Alexandria & Bombay"sowie blauem Tax-Vermerk "70" (Centesimi) für das italienische Weiterfranco nach Calcutta mit Ankunftsstempel. Die Marken sind farbfrisch, sehr gut geprägt und die  1⁄4 Groschen-Marke und die Marke mit dem Plattenfehler haben unbedeutende Zahnunebenheiten, der Umschlag mit einigen Beförderungsspuren. Eine in Verbindung mit dem Plattenfehler besonders attraktive und seltene, tarifgerechte 7 1⁄4 Groschen-Frankatur aus der bekannten Trefftz-Korrespondenz nach Ostindien (englische Besitzungen), Fotoattest Dr. Zill BPP (2024)

1880/1900 (ca.), selection of 34 covers (few fronts) and 17 used stamps including a handfull of the 1857/77 circular stamps, some of which cut square and one on "native" letter, some 1877 oil colours and a variety of usages of the following issue such as on British India 1/2 a. postal stationery envelopes (one 1/2a. orange-red with corner-margin) or on underpaid "native" letters to british territory, in both cases with the stamps often additionally tied by characteristic private pen-markings for the prevention of theft or manipulation. An interesting selection in rather mixed condition.
