1821, entire letter from England, posted by Agents at Bombay with faint ´´BOMBAY/POST NOT PAID/ FE/1822´´ (Giles 8) to a lieutenant of the Bengal horse artillery at Mhow, redirected to Poona and Meerut. On front noted postage of 1 r. 6 a.

1823, "NUDDEA/POST OFFICE/Pt. Pd. (2 as)/Sa.Wt.  /(8 July) 18(23)", rectagular framed  datestamp in black, very clear on reverse of entire letter to Chandenagore; very fine. Certificate RPSL (2019) (Giles No.1)

1824, entire letter from Calcutta to Malligaum Kandeish, showing on reverse oval "G.P.O. APR (5) Pt.Pd. (1-5)" and adjacent red "Poonah/POST PAID"

1831, entire letter from Mhow, whith brownish double circle with manuscript date on reverse, to Edinburgh, showing on front boxed "INDIA LETTER PORT GLASGOW" and faint red oval "SHIP/B.G.P.O. POSTAGE PAID" 

1835, entire letter, dated inside "Norwood Hill 24th October", to the "Assistant Opium Agent" at Patna, re-directed to Merut with clear "MERUT/ Bg. Po.", and finally to Delhi, several times additionally charged. On reverse  3 further pstmarks. An ineresting and rare letter.

1835, "DUM DUM POST OFFICE", oval handstamp with manuscript date "30 July 35", next to "CALCUTTA G.P.O. SHIP LETTER" and "LIVERPOOL SHIP LETTER" or reverse of entire letter to England.

1788, official engraved ticket for the trial of Warren Hastings, former Governor-General of India (sixth day), signed by the first Baron Heathfield, the defender of Gibraltar. Usual light folds and top left corner removed when entering the premises. Very fine and rare.

1854, 1 a. deep vermilion with 9½ arches, prepared for use but not issued, upper right sheet corner originating from the last sheet of the triple sheet (unique example), nice deep colour and large margins, unused without gum. Unobstrusive horizontal crease and some minor toning, still fine. A rare stamp. Certificate BPA (2015) (SG 5000£ for normal copy)

1854, unissued ½ a. red, Sperati forgery as die proof on ungummed paper, with his signature in the margin, fine and rare
