1854, Desmadryl 5 c. red brown, horizontal strip of 6, slightly touched in places it at top, otherwise full to large margins, used on lettersheet with adjacent red "SANTIAGO  AGTO 54" to Valparaiso. Filing crease (well off the franking) little toned, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very attractive and rare letter. Certificate RPSL (1978) (Scott 3)

Wappen 3 Pfennig grün, 1 Neugroschen lebhaftlilarot und senkrechtes Paar 3 Neugroschen braunorange, alle farbfrisch und bis auf kleine transportbedingte Einschränkungen einwandfrei, einzeln sauber entwertet durch Hufeisenstempel vom letzten Tag der sächsischen Posthoheit "LEIPZIG No.1 31 12 67" auf Briefhülle über Triest nach Kairo; in Alexandria für das ägyptische Inlandsporto frankiert mit 1867, 1 Piaster rot, entwertet durch Einkreisstempel "POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE ALESSANDRIA 11 GEN. 68". Das Porto setzt sich zusammen aus 3 Neugroschen Vereinsporto, 2 Neugroschen (= 10 Neukreuzer) österreichischem Seeporto Triest-Alexandria sowie 2 2/10 Neugroschen ägyptischem Inlandsporto. 1862/81, 20 Rp. orange und 30 Rp. blau, mit L1 "NEUKIRCH" und zusätzlichem Ortsstempel von Bürglen auf kompletter Faltbrief 1869 nach Kairo, befördert über Wien, Triest und Alexandria, hier zusätzlich frankiert mit Ägypten 1867, 1 Piaster rot, mit Stempel. "POSTE EGIZIANE ALESSANDRIA 12 NOV.69 3T." für die Beförderung von Alexandria nach Kairo durch die Ägyptische Post. Die 30 Centimes mit nicht störendem senkrechten Briefbug, sonst gute und frische Erhaltung. Eine sehr seltene Kombinationsfrankatur; es sind nur zwei weitere ähnliche Briefe aus der Schweiz registriert. Fotoattest Rellstab (1990)

The left 10 c. tiny marginal nick at upper left, otherwise very fine and fresh. One of only two recorded covers with the complete first issue of Chile used in combination. The cover slightly folded back at left, otherwise fine. A rare multiple of this stamp on cover; just one further strip of three on entire recorded.
