Moens, Jean-Baptiste: Catalogue Prix-Courant de Timbres-Poste, 5. Auflage 1877, 408 S. mit mehr als 2250 Abb. (auf gesonderten Abb.-Seiten zum Schluss), angeblich nur noch wenige Exemplare in privater Hand bekannt. Der private Hardcovereinband ist ohne Titelprägung, nur mit Rückenschild, der Katalog-Textteil innen ist gut erhalten, die gefalzten Abb.-Seiten auf dünnem Papier am Rand bestoßen Moens, Jean-Baptiste: Catalogue Prix-Courant de Timbres-Poste, 5the Ed. 1877, 408 pages with over 2,250 ills. (on separate illustration pages at the end), apparently only a few copies known in private hands. The privately bound cover is without embossed titling, only the spine, the inside contents with the catalogue are in good condition, the folded illustration pages, on thin paper, are bumped at the edges

The early work by Moens (1864), translated into English by Dr. C. W. Viner with 148 pages and 54 plates (with 600 illustrations of stamps), hardbound without embossed cover (binding slightly defective), ex Carl Walske library, a literary rarity of the first order

Eines der seltensten Werke der frühen Katalogliteratur und dies erstmals mit Abbildungen Moens, Jean-Baptiste: Les timbres-Poste Illustrés (1840-1864), 148 pp. + 54 plates, Brussels, 1864, ex libris Henry le Comt, bound in bibliophile style, only lightly bumped at the edges, contents good. One of the rarest works of early catalogue literature, this being the first with illustrations

Potiquet, Alfred: Catalogue des Timbres-Poste …, 2. Auflage 1862, 48 S., privat bibliophil als Hardcover mit Gold-Buchrückenprägung gebunden (ohne Original-Broschurtitel, Einband etwas bestoßen), gut erhalten. Der erste Briefmarkenkatalog der Welt! Eine Seltenheit, von der nur ca. ein Dutzend bekannt sind Potiquet, Alfred: Catalogue des Timbres-Poste..., 2nd Ed., 1862, 48 pp., privately hardbound in bibliophile style with gold lettering on the spine (without the original soft front cover, binding rather bumped). Good condition. The world's first postage stamp catalogue! A rarity, of which only about a dozen are known

Wilson, Sir John: The Royal Philatelic Collection, Dropmore Press, London – das bis heute wohl unübertroffene Luxuswerk der phil. Literatur, hier die Originalausgabe von 1952, mit Originalschuber (dieser wie fast immer mit großen Mängeln) das Buch aber ist bis auf eine Randabschürfung am rechten Bucheckel absolut einwandfrei, wie neu Sir John Wilson: The Royal Philatelic Collection, Dropmore Press, London – this is probably still unmatched in philatelic literature; the original edition of 1952, with original slip-in case (this, as almost always, has major faults) but the book is absolutely perfect, as new except for some edge-rubbing at the right-hand corner
