1840, Mulready letter sheet 1d black, stereo lost with seal, cancelled red MC, neat "Southport Penny Post" handstamp alongside, "OMSKIRK JU 13 1840" c.d.s in red on reverse to Liverpool, fine,  and Mulready envelope 1d. black, stereo A182, cancelled by black MC,  neat "T.P. ACTON" handstamp alongside, small tear backed by age-toned tape remnants., otherwise fine. A nice pair of covers showing Penny Post and Two Penny Post markings

Mulready letter sheet 1d. black, stereo A27, cancelled by experimental black Maltese cross of the London Two Penny Post, faint "T.P./ Leadenhall St." in red on front, "JA 16 / 1841" datestamp in red struck at St.Martins-le-Grand Chief Office, to East Acton. Small tear at top backed by paper, otherwise very fresh and fine.

1 d. intense black, plate 6, 2 single copies BI/BJ, both with clear to large margins and cancelled by orange-red MC on letter sheet of "DEC 1 1840" to Dunfermline; light filing creases not effecting the stamps, fine, sign. Alberto Diena

1854/58, 1 d. rose-red and 2. d. blue with 1855/57, 1 sh. green, each with clear barred square numeral "309" to letter sheet from "STONEHAVEN OC 25 1862" to Java, Dutch East Indies, with adjacent manuscript "25" for the internal postage at Java; a small part of the letter sheet backed to stabilize ink corrosion in the tax mark, otherwise very fine and highly attractive

1858/79, 1 d. rose-red, plate 160, tied by duplex "CROYDON FE 13 73" to large size embossed Valentine's cover (opened at two sides) with orignal contents to Pesham, unusual and attractive

1847/57, embossed issue 1 sh. deep-green, die 2, vertical strip of 3 with clear to good margins together with 1 d. red-brown and 2 d. blue, all with diamond-framed "17" on triple rate small ladie's envelope from London to Florence, Italy with transit and arrival marks; the 1 d. slightly defective where affixed originally around the edge of the cover; an attractive and rare franking, sign. Enzo Diena with certificate

Bishop mark auf einem Brief von 1690 in die Niederlande, Inlandspost mit "Penny Post"  und "Too Late" Stempeln, 'Forwarding Agent' Brief von 1834 nach Italien, außerdem etwas Incoming Mail u.a. Brief von 1846 aus Neapel and den berühmten Politiker Robert Peel M.P. in London, ausgehende Post mit guten Destinationen u.a. Bayern, Frankfurt, Baden, Frankreich, alles sauber auf Blättern aufgezogen, meist gute Erhaltung
