1871, Printed by Adolf Otto, Gustrow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin 3d. dull ultramarine block of four with central target cancellation in blue on thin paper, clear and distinct impressions. Colour Trials, Luff´s Plate ´N´, the left-hand vertical pair with some stains, otherwise fine and a very rare multiple. Endorsed in pencil ´Ex D Cohn, canc Otto´. 

1872-74, Transvaal First Republic Issues Borrius: 1 sh. green, fine roulette on thin transparent paper, light blue cancelled, fine, double signed Thier.

1872/74, Typographed by J.P. Borrius at Potchefstroom, 3 d. grey-lilac, thinnish opaque paper. Yardley type ´C´ fine roulette 15½  to 16, unused no gum, fine.

1874, Typographed by P. Davis & Son, Pietermaritzburg: 1 d. pale brick red and 6 d. deep blue, perforated 12½, 1 d. on opaque paper bottom margin, 6 d. deep blue on thin transparent paper right margin, both fine used, signed Köhler and Thier.

1877, "V.R. / Transvaal" 6 d. blue on rose paper, used two stamps with Type 4 overprint inverted, imperforate with the plate flaw broken ‘Z’ at bottom left, rouletted with the plate flaw broken frame on top between ‘Z-E’, a fine and attraktive pair.

1877, "V.R. / Transvaal" printings on coloured papers, five used stamps, mainly fine, four signed Köhler.

1877/79, Overprinted ´V.R./Transvaal´ in black. 1d. red on orange, imperforate block of four, prefolded and cut into at left and bottom, mint never hinged, fine.
