1879 (February 4), 10 sld. blue Franz Josef, tied to folded letter to Marseille by Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with red Geneva c.d.s. transit (14 Feb), next-day red “Suisse / Marseille” French entry mark on front, and same-day Marseille c.d.s. arrival backstamp, some light toning to stamp and the odd spot on cover, else a fine single franking.

1879, Umschlag mit Paar 10 sld. blau als Einschreiben entwertet FILIPPOPELI 9/12 nach Sarajevo, rs. Transitstempel Constantinopel 12.12.79 und Budapest 19.12., rechts min. verkürzt, ansonsten sehr attraktiver und interessanter Beleg mit seltener Destination.

1879 (May 27), folded letter to Constantinople, franked with 10 sld. blue, Fine Print, tied by neatly-struck Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with c.d.s. arrival backstamp (30 May), slight toning surrounding adhesive, else fine, signed Sorani.

1884 (February 6), 5 sld. Franz Josef stationery card to Ancona, Italy, struck with Filippopel c.d.s., Constantinople c.d.s. transit (9 Feb) opposite, some light edge wear, but an uncommon destination.

1886, Ganzsache 5 soldi klarer Stempel Filippopel 16.10.86, Durchgangsstempel Constantinopel 19.10.86, Ankunftsstempel Haida Böhmen, tadellos und attraktiv.

1886 (31 December), 10pa on 3sld. Coat of Arms, tied to cover to Leipzig by Filipopoli c.d.s., reverse with Constantinople transit (3 Jan), Leipzig  c.d.s. receiver (7 Jan), a fresh and very fine single franking, paying the printed matter rate.

1887, Umschlag ‘Geschäftspapiere’ per Einschreiben mit Dreierstreifen 10 pa. auf 3 sld. blaugrün schwarz für die Drucksachengebühr für die dritte Geweichtsstufe und rs. 10 sld. ultramarin schwarz Einschreibgebühr, je entwertet FILIPPOPEL 24/12/87 nach Coswig mit Ank.St. 11/1/88. Trotz einiger Randmängel und Verkürzung, interessante MiF und Portostufe.

1888 (January 29), 20pa on 5kr postal stationery card, cancelled by choice Filippopel c.d.s., bold oval commercial sender's handstamp at left, to Vienna, with equally crisp c.d.s. receiver (22 Dec) on front, very fine.

1895, 20 Para / 5 Kr rosa Ganzsachenkarte sehr klar "SAMSUN 23/12/95" über das ÖSTERREICHISCHE POSTAMT 1 in KONSTANTINOPEL an das DEUTSCHE POSTAMT 1, seltene Inlandsverwendung über das Schwarze Meer, Kabinettbeleg tadellos

1906, Ganzsachenkarte 10 C. auf 10 H. rosa mit “JAFFA a 17/11/06 ÖSTERR. POST”, mit rs. Text nach Breslau mit Ankunftsstempel, etwas bügiger Bedarfsbeleg aus Palästina mit klarer Abstempelung

1908, “VALONA OESTERREICHISCHE POST 23.2.08” (Tchilinghirian Fig. 486) auf Firmen-Trauerbrief mit 1 Pia. nach Triest mit rs. Ankunftsstempel 25.2.08, Teil der Klappe fehlt, ansonsten einwandfrei, saubere Abstempelung

1913, 10 Pia grün auf gelblich auf Paket-Begleitadresse der österreichischen Levante von JERUSALEM über Triest nach Russland, dort mit 10 K Marke für Lagergebühr belegt und gelocht, Karte links leicht verkürzt ohne Anhänger und mit Beförderungsmängeln, eine sehr seltene Destination.
 

1914, "ALEXANDRIEN-TRIEST 16.IV.14", klarer Abschlag des Schiffspoststempels auf Brief mit 10 H., adressiert nach Wien, dekorativer Umschlag der Oesterr. Lloyd Triest mit rückseitig blauem Firmenzudruck, tadellos.

1914, Candia: cover franked with Austrian stamps 5 h green and pair of 10 h rose 1908, tied with "CANDIA b Osterr. Post 22.VII.14", addressed to Vienna, without any arrival postmark. According to Tchilinghirian the usage of Austrian stamps was not allowed and only few values should exist, very rare and interesting

1914, Ganzsachenkarte 10 C. aus Jaffa nach Frankfurt mit nebengesetztem, 2-zeiligen Rahmenstempel "AUS JERUSALEM / ÖSTERR. POST".

1830, K.K. ‘Circular-Verordnung’ zur Desinfektion von Post um das Vordringen der Cholera zu verhindern.

1890, Rechungsformular  “All'Agenzia del Lloyd Austro-Ungarico, oben mit blauem “AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRO-UNGARICO / JAFFA”, nebengesetzt “KAISERLICH DEUTSCHES VICE-CONSULAT IN JAFFA” (Bale CON-8) mit Unterschrift “S.S. Murad”, etwas verkürzt, gefaltet, sonst in guter Erhaltung

1898, 20 Para auf 5 Kr. rosa Ganzsachenkarte mit blauem K1 ‘Lloyd Austriaco III 4.11.’ geschrieben an Bord Dampfer Amphitrite unterwegs von Korfu nach Brindisi, Utrecht 8.11.98 ASt.

1889, FILIPPOPEL cds. on postcard and envelope used in the last weeks of the Austrian P.O. in Plovdiv. The P.O. was closed on 31 March 1889, aditional three stamps with same cancellation.

1869, Folded letter from Burgas to Constantinople bearing 10 sld. blue tied by very fine single circle ‘BURGAS 30/1’ datestamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig.936), on reverse ‘Lloyd Agenzie/Constantinople’ arrival cds., additional four stamps Lombardia-Ven. with same cancellation, fine

1865, Folded letter from Burgas to Constantinople bearing Lomb.-Ven. pair 10 sld. blue tied by very fine single circle ‘BURGAS 4/12’ datestamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig.936), on reverse ‘Lloyd Agenzie/Constantinople’ arrival cds., additional five stamps Levante with same cancellation, fine. 1870, Austrian P.O. small type Smirne 19.2.70 cds. on an unfranked folded letter to Italy, alongside boxed “Piroscafi Postali Italiani” ship mark, on reverse transits Brindisi and Milano and arrival Brescia 26.2.70. At arrival mix of Italian postage due 0.10 c. (1869 issue) and 60 c. (issue 1870, small corner defect lower right) tied by Brescia 26.2.70 cds., with complete content, two faint registration marks through postage, otherwise fine and attractive. Interesting armenian imprint AVAKIAN FRERES SMYRNE inside and blue cachet on front.

1861, Folded envelope from GALLATZ 20/9 with blue oneliner "FRANCO" alongside, carried by ship to Constantinopoli with Lloyd Agenzie arrival mark on reverse, usual file fold, fine and scarce

1862, Prepaid cover from Constantinople to Paris with CONSTANTINOPLE wreathed datestamp (11/6), straight line FRANCO and VIA KUSTENDGE-VIENNA handstamps all in blue (Tchilinghirian figs. 385+384+113). Crossed to denote prepayment with reverse showing Vienna cds. (18/6) and Berlin 18/6 arrival mark, fine.

1863, Folded envelope cancelled CONSTANTINOPLE 31/8 in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 387) and FRANCO alongside, endorsed 'via Kustendje' (Constanza), sender cachet ‘Freres Simoff Constantinople’. The route of the cover is very interesting, from Constantinople by Lloyd ship to Kustendje, per Danube and black sea railway DBSR to Cernowoda and by DDSG to Roustschouk, file folds and tiny toned, otherwise fine. Nice postal history.
