1858/59, two folded envelopes showing 2 gr. rate, one with single 2 gr. (plate III), from "AQUILA" 1858 to Castel di Sangro, tied to envelope by boxed "ANNULATO", the other bearing two 1 gr. (plate I and II), tied to envelope by boxed “ANNULATO” from "AQUILA" to NAPOLI 1859, usual file folds, fine pair showing all three plates.. (Sassone 6, 7III)

1859, 2 gr. lilac-rose, Type III, full to wide margins tied to folded letter with clear “ANNULLATO”, alongside “ROSSANO 4/NOV 1859” cds. to Napoli with red arrival postmark on reverse, tiny crease and transport traces, otherwise fine, signed Chiavarello. (Sassone 7)
