1846, Austrian Lloyd Postal Agency entire letter from Constantinople to Syra, struck with fine "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / Costantinopoli" handstamp (Tchilinghirian fig. 442) in black. Disinfected with cholera slits, with Syra arrival cds (27 Iano.1846) displaying well on reverse, charged '25' lepta inland postage in manuscript. A scarce marking well struck.

1866, Ship mail: folded envelope from Aivali to Constantinople. Turkey Duloz issue 2 pia. blue tied by boxed ‘P.P. (Anchor)’ to envelope with Lombardia-Venezia 10 Sld blue tied by 'METELINE 20/10' ds. to Cospoli with arrival mark ‘LLOYD AGENZIE CONSTANTINOPOLI 23/10’ on reverse. The anchor cancellation of the Admirality Steam Ship Agency is late used and only two covers with such usage are recorded. Certificate du Vachat BPP (2005).
