10 k. brown/blue, vertical pair of fresh colours and excellent embossing, nicely centred and with good perforations, each adhesive tied by circular dotted numeral “1” (type with two additional dots on each side of the numeral) to a small piece, alongside red framed “S.P.Burg 23 May 1858”, some minor toning on a few perfs, still fine. An extremely scarce multiple, signed and certificates Hofmann BPP (1984), Citerne BPP (2024)

Extremely rare usage of an early Russian adhesive on a foreign incoming mail, signed Mikulski and certificate Citerne BPP (2025)

1866, 5 k. black/lilac, four vertical pairs, fresh colours, each neatly tied by cds. “ODESSA 26 MAY 1874” to a double weight step envelope to Marseilles, travelling post office and Warsaw transit postmark on reverse, one stamp with a defective corner, otherwise a very fine and scarce 40 kopek franking, signed Mikulski

Some minor folds on the envelope, still very fine and attractive four-values and two-issues combination franking, opinion Citerne BPP (2024)

A very scarce and eye-appealing franking
