"NEW YORK PAID AUG 11 9", put on "Illinois" as "Saxonia", the HAPAG liner would not sail for another four days, the rate was 21 cents, the US post office kept the balance of 6 cents, adhesives with negligible imperfections, othewise fine

Steamer Arago via Marseille" to Melbourne, Australia, the adhesives only paid the route via Southampton, so the cover was put on the "PERSIA", from there on the "PERA" to Alexandria, "SIMLA" to Galle and "BENARES" to Melbourne with arrival mark "MELBOURNE AP 15 61", fine and very attractive
