TAIZ: "TELEGRAF VE POSTA HANE-i TAIZ", negative seal on telegram; several folds and a large tear in the upper part of the telegram backed (all quite imperceptible); a very rare item

HOLY LAND: 1913, "BEIT-DJALA" (Coles-Walker 111) on 1 pia stationery envelope front via Jerusalem 6 to Belgium, only few covers from this small village recorded

HOLY LAND: 1918, "CAIFFA 1" (Coles-Walker 60) on "avec reponse" cover to Germany via Beyrouth and Constantinople with red censor label on reverse, only "AR" cover known from Caiffa, a rarity

HOLY LAND: Russian Levant registered cover with extremely scarce registration label on reverse ms. "Caifa" & "352", clear cancellations "ROPIT KAIFA" and at arrival in Germany additional railway registration label affixed on front, on reverse transit marks Constantinople and arrival mark Friedenau, a Levant rarity

HOLY LAND: cover from Haifa to Geneva, sent to a POW in Pietermartizburg Natal South Africa, very unusual and scarce

HOLY LAND; 1915, "GAZA", cds. on cover with Damas transit mark to Germany, large all Arabic "GAZA ASKERI HASTAHANESI SER TABIBI" (Military Hospital Gaza chief doctor) and signature mark under ms. "seen and censored", a Palestine WWI rarity

HOLY LAND: 1916, stampless cover from "JAFFA 5" (oct. type) to Roumania with postage due 50 bani on reverse, censor marks Beyrouth and Constantinople, few creases, very unusual

HOLY LAND: 1875, "YAFA" (Coles-Walker 135 & 136), two different types of blue cancellation on Turkey Duloz issue, "AKKA" box type, "SAFED" on pair and "JAFFA" on block of 4, very attractive and scarce Palestine forerunners

MEDJDIL: "Telegraf ve Postahane-i Mecdil" and "Telgrafhane-i Gaza", good to very clear strikes on military correspondence telegram form; a fine and very rare item of Holy Land postal history, only few similar items known

HOLY LAND: Death certificate officially registered from Naplous sent with wrapper to a military address "Firka 19 Alay 35" tied by cds. "NAPLOUS" and fieldpost cancellation "SAHRA POSTASI 35" alongside, all Arabic "NAPLUS VATAN HASTAHANESI SER TABIBI" (Nablous Homeland Hospital chief doctor) under wrapper and signature, a Palestine WWI rarity

1863/1920, mostly unused collection in very fine quality, starting with 1863 first issue full maring set, good part Duloz with 1865, 25 pia. and Ampir issues with 5 pa. violet and 1886, 25 pia. black (ISFILA 28, 123-24), 1901, 1908 and 1909 issues complete mint with newspaper issues, 1911 Sultan Resad Journey, 1914 first London printing, Six Star overprints with 2 pia. 1908 newspaper issue, Five Star overprints complete incl. Tax for War Orphans, PTT overprints 146 values and a very good part "Angora issues with handstamped overprints (few signed) and postage due

1865/1920, collection in two large Yvert-albums, very specialized with types and perfs, early issues incl. tête-bêche prints, imperf pairs, specimen and colour proofs, an interesting and valuable study worked out over decades

1865/1980, collection of 1250 mint stamps, printing errors and varieties starting Ottoman Empire Duloz issue incl. Red Crescent and airmails, part on exhibition sheet, very scarce blocks and proofs, colour proofs and essays, excellent part Republic errors, overall a fantastic offer and careful viewing advised for full appreciation

1865/1920,  Stempelsammlung nach Spezialkatalog Brand-Ceylan im Yvert-Album. Über 1500 sehr saubere klare Stempel meist auf Marken, teils Paare, Einheiten und Briefstücke, interessante Gebiete wie Holy Land, Albanien, Griechenland, Bulgarien und Arabien bis Irak sind stark vertreten; viele Stempel die bisher nicht katalogisiert waren
