1858: 27 parale black on rose laid paper, a magnificent used example of clear impression with enormous margins on all sides, cancelled with "Berlad/Moldova" datestamp (6/10) in blue. An exquisite stamp, the finest of just 5 examples recorded used at Berlad. Recorded by Heimbüchler in Volume 1 of the Handbook on page 270 with a poor photograph, which in no way justifies the beauty of this example. Signed Miro, Roumet. Certificate Heimbüchler.

54 parale blue on green laid paper, used example of superb appearance with enormous margins on all sides, cancelled with "Piatra/Moldova" datestamp (15/9) in blue. Thinned at base but not detracting from the wonderful aspect of this stamp, with just 9 examples recorded used at Piatra. Certificate Heimbüchler.

108 parale blue on rose laid paper, used example of fine appearance, just touched at top but with three large even margins at sides and at base, cancelled by neat "Jassy/Moldova" datestamp (10/9) in red. An interesting impression with break in the outer frame line at right in a similar position to that copied by Sperati in his forgery of this stamp. Certificate Heimbüchler.

Reverse with "Jassy/Moldova" arrival cds in blue (27/11). Adhesive affected by file fold but an extremely rare entire used in the first two weeks of issue. Signed Heimbüchler.

Entire affected by some tears but of fine appearance, bearing a wonderful example of the 40 parale. Signed Heimbüchler.
