1882/85, "ROPIT BURGAS", zwei verschiedene Stempel der russischen Levantepost auf 7 kop. blau und Österr. 2x20 pa. rosakarmin mit Teilabschlag, äußerst seltener Stempel (Tchil. Fig. 85), dazu 10 sld. auf Briefstück und 3 Einzelmarken mit Stempel Filipopoli.

1913, 10 Pia grün auf gelblich auf Paket-Begleitadresse der österreichischen Levante von JERUSALEM über Triest nach Russland, dort mit 10 K Marke für Lagergebühr belegt und gelocht, Karte links leicht verkürzt ohne Anhänger und mit Beförderungsmängeln, eine sehr seltene Destination.

1877, stampless military cover of 130th Kherson Regiment of russian troops from Tabatchka (near Russe), cancelled ‘4th Fieldpost Agency 14.Dec.1877’, transit mark St. Petersburg on reverse and arrival mark Helsingfors, fine and scarce destination to Finland. The garrison in Pleven surrendered on 10 December. 

1878, stampless military cover of 130th Kherson Regiment of russian troops from Kotchmar (northwest of Dobritch), cancelled ‘4th Fieldpost Agency 6.Abr.1878’, transit mark St. Petersburg on reverse and arrival mark Helsingfors, fine and scarce destination to Finland. Rare post following the dictated peace of San Stefano on 3 March 1878.

1864, Russia 10 kop. black stationery envelope with stamped impression at upper left on address side used in 1864 from KALISZ to Moscow, cancelled by numeral four ring “191”, with red "KALISZ 4/7" datestamp in red alongside, addressed to “the  house of the church of the Savior in the Kerepetnikov Row in the house of the priest of the Trinity Church, Moscow”, red wax seal and arrival mark on reverse, tiny crease, otherwise fine and in PROFI unrecorded on postal stationery

1917, Postcard ‘Greetings from Tulcha’ used with violet russian type military unit cachet ‘Independent Romanian Fieldpost Department’ in cyrillic alphabet, addressed to Sofia with message in russian, fine and very scarce mail from romanian front.

1795, Entire written from St Petersburg on November 20th, addressed to Newburyport, with clear bishop mark 3 AP on obverse, rated 70, some paper splitting

1858, 10 kop. brown & blue perf. 12½ on entire letter from St. Petersburg to Wasa Finland, a fresh and fine adhesive, cancelled by numeral obliterator '1' of St. Petersburg with despatch datestamp in red alongside. An attractive cover

1917, Abdication of Tsar Nicholas, three blocks of eight, with "Izvestia" Proclamation overprints, unused, fine.

2007, WWF Animals: Leopard, Bison, Stork, complete set of three in imperforated margin pairs and normal set, very fine.

“PAQUEBOT ADEN 5.OCT.35”, clear strike on 20 k. on 14 k. deep blue carmine on maritime cover  to Aden with arrival postmark on reverse. Philatelic influenced, but an unusual ship cover, very fine

1887, 2 k. schwarzgrau/rot/grün und 2 k. grün/rot mit Federzug, nebengesetzt Stempel "WENDEN 30 DEZ 1887" auf großem Umschlag mit vollem Briefinhalt und rotem Siegel, gute Erhaltung.

"ПОЧТОВЫЙ СБОРЬ УПЛОЧЕНЪ" black straight-line cancel with adjacent cds. "JELGAWA 3 11 19" on folded postcard to Riga, scarce

1908/12, SHANGHAI POSTE RUSSE cancellations on 19 stamps and pairs on piece, including margin stamps, fine lot

1914, two postal stationery envelope 10 k. with red overprint, cancelled "SHANGHAI POSTE RUSSE 4.3.14" and the other ‘SHANGHAI 29.6.08’, both to Germany, endorsed ‘via Sibirien’ on top left, flaw at flap, one toned, otherwise fine pair.
