1870, Spitzen aufwärts 1 Centimes olivgrün und 4 Centimes lilagrau, je 2 Einzelwerte, farbfrisch und gut gezähnt, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem Hufeisenstempel "MARKIRCH 18 NOVBR 71" auf kleinem Faltbrief nach Straßburg. "SITIA CRETE 6 JUIN 99" on front, alongside a faint blue handstamp "MARINE FRANCAISE SERVICE A LA MER" confirming the free frank status, sent to an active service man on duty at MADAGASCAR, maritime cds.
