10 l. in combination with Small Hermes Head 20 l., tied by c.d.s. "ATHENS 3/28 MAR 1896"(4th day of the games), to envelope, showing on reverse seal of the German consulate, to Karlsruhe, Germany, with arrival mark. A very fine and rare usage during the games.

On reverse 5 l. and pair 10 l. uncancelled. Light transportation marks. A very scarce.

1891, Postal stationery card 10 l. blue, used with clear cds. "KERKYRA 30 MAR"(1896, 6th day of the games) with long text to Amsterdam, with arrival mark on front. One of very few postal stationery cards without olympic franking, recorded during the games.
